A friend introduced me to this recipe, and because it's both simple and delicious, it received the the rare honor of being committed to memory. It is a sweet and savory appetizer, and I've yet to meet anyone who didn't enjoy it.

So easy! Any kind of nut could go into the date and instead of a whole almond I preferred chopped nuts. I liked these without being secured with toothpicks. Great as a snack or as an appetizer! Read More
