Coca-Cola's New $10 Subscription Service Sold Out in Three Hours
Coca-Cola is offering fans the chance to get early access to over 20 drinks in 2020 through their new subscription service. The Coca-Cola Insiders Club, which launched on Monday, offers subscribers monthly shipments of beverages — ranging from Coke Energy to AHA flavored sparkling water — plus extra swag and surprise goodies.
This isn't the first innovation that Coca-Cola has rolled out in 2019. The beverage company has been consistently expanding their line by adding news products and limited-edition flavors of their well-known drinks, which may be some of the products offered for members of the Insiders Club. Coca-Cola Cinnamon and Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry were released in September. While Coca-Cola Energy, which has 114 milligrams of caffeine per can and offers four flavors, was announced in October and will be hitting shelves in 2020.
When sign-ups were still open, Coca-Cola Insiders Club subscribers had the choice to select between a $10 monthly or $50 prepaid payment for a six-month membership. Currently Coca-Cola is treating this as a six-month trial, which they will consider expanding depending on sales, plus feedback from consumers and social media.
The initial opening of the Coca-Cola Insiders Club only had 1,000 membership slots, which sold out in a mere three hours. But if you're a soda enthusiast, or just want to taste the latest trends, they have a waiting list available so you can be notified when more membership spots open up.
